Historical Society Website Launch and Holiday Open House The Harrison County Historical Society will host its holiday open house on Saturday, December 10 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Neff-Hardesty Memorial Archives at 445 W. Main Street, Suite 150 in Clarksburg. At this event, the HCWVHS will also officially present its Past Perfect Online website. This new website is the latest phase of the organization’s eight year effort to make its collections more publicly accessible for research. In addition, refreshments will be available and those attending will have the chance to view the historical society’s current displays. The HCWVHS Past Perfect Online project was made possible by funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and the federal American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 through the West Virginia Humanities Council.
