Volunteers Needed
Volunteers from the community are needed to help with many aspects of the Archive Project. We are looking for volunteers who would like to be trained in accessioning our collections. This is the processes of cataloging all of our artifacts to ensure that they are preserved and organized. We are particularly looking for people to be trained on our computer program used to organize are objects, but if you are not comfortable with that we also do paper accessioning that anyone can learn. This can start at any time so please contact us if you are interested in being trained. This is an excellent opportunity to help the society in one of its biggest long-term projects. Please contact our AmeriCorps Volunteer Sydney at [email protected] for questions or to sign up.
Financial Donations Requested
One of the most direct and immediate ways that members of the community can preserve the historical record of the community is through a donation to the Archive Project. Click here for information about how to contribute to the Project.
