Come in out of the cold, and join the Harrison County Historical Society for their Winter Blues Bingo!!! Doors open at noon at the Harrison County Senior Center, and the games will kick off at 1:00 p.m. Tickets are 20 games for $20 and are available for purchase at the historical society or at the door the day of the event. Each of the prizes for the 20 games will contain a Vera Bradley purse or bag. Also, there will be tips, several raffles, a 50/50 drawing, door prizes, and concessions with homemade baked goods! Proceeds from this bingo goes to support the ongoing archival projects of the historical society. Only persons 18 years and older are able to play bingo. The Society offers a variety of programs in the community throughout the year that will stimulate warm memories about historical events that satisfy your curiosity about the past , create new questions for additional study, and appreciate your place in the continually unfolding history of your community.
Events include displays of historical artifacts, lively presentations by experts on a variety of topics, historical re-enactments and others.
We are also involved with community events and outreach, such as parades, swap meets, and taking apart of other organizations events.
